| Use | The aim of the archetype is recording session-level dialysis metrics as part of a hemodialysis procedure or action, as well as monitoring treatment adequacy and fluid removal and supporting clinical review and audit of dialysis.sessions |
| Misuse | Not to be used to record other fluids management, recording prescribed values instead of actual delivered values. It should not be used to capture instantaoneous measurements as flow rates; only intented to record cumulative/session totals. Not suitable for non dyalisis fluid balances. |
| Purpose | To record and structure essential volumetric parameters of a hemodialysis session in a standardized and interoperable way, supporting clinical monitoring, quality assessment, and secondary uses such as analytics and research. |
